Fallin' behind- Quick update

Well it's usually Jenn who updates this, but we have both been so swamped the past few weeks (months) that it's hard to work things in. So we're going to do a quick overview of the past few months. Jenn finished her first year of cheer, and it was a relief to be finished for the year, but it didn't last long, tryouts for the next year were only a few weeks later (last week), and so it starts all over again.

Haiden loves it though. This is the cheer camp the cheerleaders put on.

We also went back to Disneyland in February with my brother Wesley. Disneyland is one of those places where you're excited to go, but then you find out you hotel is miles away. You don't want to take the shuttle because you need to break down your stroller and it's just a hassle, so you end up walking. But February is one of the best times to go, so that makes up for it....just able to walk right on to any ride you want. Well that would have been the case had it not been "ski week" more most schools in California. What is "ski week" you ask, just another reason for Disneyland to be PACKED!! Yes it was busy. So just a heads up, if you're going to Disneyland and there is ANY holiday....you want want to reconsider. We want in October just after Columbus Day....Columbus day, I KNOW; and yes it was packed.

So at the end of 3 days you're more then ready to come home, but when you get home and back to work...the "disneyland rush" doesn't seem all that bad. So we're talking about going back in September, just staying away from the holidays (or "made up days" in some cases).

Catch Up!!!

 Its been awhile, I know, but we have been busy!!! So here is a quick run down of our holiday season!!!
                         

                             We did Santa..... Haiden asked for a barbie house, Lexi Screamed!!!

We did parties.... forgot to take to many pictures but my aunt gave the girls these beanies and they wouldn't take them off!!

 Spent a lot of time in the car.... however with our new dvd players it was pretty quiet

Overall it was a great Christmas, loved having it on Sunday! We missed the snow though, still waiting for it to come.....

Guess we don't throw much of a party. Lexi and her friend Peyton sure enjoyed themselves. I think Haiden takes after me cause by 10:00 I was exhausted!!! Happy New Year's!

Update!!

 I can't believe how behind I am. Since I last blogged back in August we have been so busy. We went to Lagoon in September thinking it was late enough in the season that the crowd wouldn't be bad. We were wrong. 3 large companies had employee parties there that day. The rain scared a few off but it was still fun. Haiden loves that she can ride some of the bigger rides now days. Lexi is just jealous that she can't. At the beginning of October we headed to Disneyland again! Again thinking the crowd would not be bad. Boy are we poor judges of that!!! It was still a blast though! We love that place. Other than that my girls have just been growing like crazy. Haiden is becoming so grown up and says the funniest things sometimes. I love her randomness and personality. Lexi went from baby to toddler in like a day. She tries to talk all day long and loves copying everything Haiden does. Just love these girls. Aruba!!

 So once again I am slow but better later than never. Joe and I went to Aruba the beginning of July. It was awesome. We left the kids with my parents and took a week for ourselves. We played on the beach, went snorkeling, site seeing, and a whole lot of relaxing. Here are some of our pictures.
